Biography

Mira Ceti

Born and raised in Paris, Mira began her career at the age of twelve, joining the Sotto Voce Children Choir. Over eight years of performances and tours — from opera to musical theatre — she built a solid technical foundation and discovered her passion for the stage.

She then turned her focus to traditional music, studying vocal techniques across European cultures. Her travels allowed her to observe the role of voice and sound in the sacred rites of traditional societies.

These diverse influences shaped a musical language rooted in traditional songs from different cultures. Working primarily around the notion of the sacred, she seeks to transmit a sense of relationship and reciprocity with her surroundings, inspired by ancestral and indigenous ways of life.

A member of several collaborative projects, she co-created the show Elzear with the equestrian company Les Chevaux Célestes. In 2019, she joined Heilung as a vocalist and has been touring with the band ever since.

Her debut album, Himest Mesi, was released in 2023, followed by the EP Sól the same year, a few singles and the EP Ament in 2026.
